Heath Construction in Fort Collins is hiring an experienced Internal Marketing Assistant who will provide mid-level office support duties under the close supervision of the President and external Marketing/PR agency, specifically in the areas of staff trainings and internal communication. The Assistant also will serve as the direct assistant to Heath’s President. This position does not involve development of marketing strategies or any original creative design responsibilities -- these only are controlled by the Heath President and an outside marketing agency.

Job purpose: To provide support duties to arrange internal staff trainings, implement pre-determined internal marketing communication strategies and assist Heath’s President with day-to-day duties. Responsibilities include assisting with training session research and setting up training programs once approved. On the internal communication side, employee will distribute materials to employees, coordinate and update mailing lists, maintain photo library, assist with jobsite signage, and other entry- or mid-level office support. As the President’s assistant, the employee will oversee basic office obligations now undertaken by the President.
Ideal Applicants: Ideal candidates are motivated by multi-tasking, problem solving and tight deadlines under pressure in a very fast-paced environment, and be impeccable in precise, clear and direct communications. This person doesn’t ask for a lot of assistance; he/she initiates research to make an informed decision and only provides information or well-versed recommendations to the President and Marketing Agency after these steps. This employee gets the job done quickly and accurately, and has the confidence to communicate with strong personalities.
Required Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Knowing some basic graphic design software such as Photoshop is a plus, but not required. This position does not require graphic design skills.
Job Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience as a high-level executive assistant to a company president or vice-president/general manager level. Or 5 years’ experience in a marketing assistant/coordinator position for mid- or large-sized organization. Do not apply if you lack at least 5 years’ experience in either of these areas.
