Ridgeview Classical SchoolHeath Construction was the Construction Manager/General Contractor for this multi-phased renovation of a church facility into a rapidly expanding school facility. Phase I consisted of a two-story classroom and laboratory addition. The $1.1 M, 15,100 square-foot addition was constructed safely while school was in session and was completed on time, allowing the kids to occupy the new addition for the Fall term. The work included new science labs, and extensive application of value added techniques including the adaptation of reclaimed university science laboratory furniture, cabinetry and equipment. Phase II was an $800,000 extensive renovation of former church spaces and a new addition. The 3,968 square-foot two-story classroom addition contains two large classrooms on each floor. The 14,970 square-foot renovation included renovating the old sanctuary to include a cafeteria on the first floor along with an auditorium and the conversion of the second floor balcony into additional classrooms. Phase III was a 11,674 square-foot addition for secondary spaces. It contains large music rooms for choir and band and additional classrooms. All work was completed safely while school was in session. |
