HEATH CONSTRUCTION COMPLETES $2.75 MILLION  SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FACILITY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE

Fort Collins, Colo., August 24, 2009 Heath Construction (www.heathconstruction.com), which has a long history of multi-family work, completed construction of a $2.75 million, 21,000-square-foot supportive housing facility in Greeley for Accessible Space, Inc. (ASI) four weeks ahead of schedule.

Construction on Fox Run Apartments n funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Colorado Division of Housing and Greeley Urban Renewal Authority n began in late November 2008. Although scheduled for completion in September 2009, the facility was ready for occupancy in August.

"Heath is known for completing projects on time and on budget," said Dan Billmark, director of Real Estate Development for ASI, a non-profit that offers accessible, affordable and supportive housing for seniors and people with physical disabilities.

"We work nationwide and have had 140 apartment buildings approved in 30 states," he added. "Heath's superintendent on Fox Run Apartments was very responsive, professional and proficient throughout the construction process. I found our experience with him to be one of the best weive had across the country."

Fox Run is the third ASI project Heath has built in Northern Colorado. Working closely with ASI and EAPC Architects, the Heath team built the 23-unit, barrier-free apartment building, which is designed to be 100% wheelchair accessible. The building includes six-foot hallways to allow wheelchair residents to pass, a pneumatic trash shoot, an emergency call system, secure entry doors operated by long-range card readers, widened doorways, raised electrical outlets, lowered light switches, lowered kitchen counters and sinks, roll-under stoves and counter tops, and an accessible bathroom with wheel-in shower and accessible vanity.

"Heath has solid experience building multi-family facilities," said Randy DeMario, president, Heath Construction. "Our customers return because we consistently deliver a great product and superior service."

Heath Construction continues to play a key role in the construction of supportive-housing and assisted-living complexes in Northern Colorado. In addition to the three ASI buildings, Heath has built Good Samaritan assisted-living facilities in Greeley, Fort Collins and Loveland. The company also constructed assisted-living facilities for Brush Housing Authority.
