10/31/2011 - NEWS RELEASE: Heath Construction Finishes Another Local Retail Project - Forma Furnature Facility

Another in long line of local Heath-constructed projects over three decades.

FORT COLLINS, COLO. – Oct.  31, 2011 – Fort Collins-based Heath Construction continues its 30-year tradition of building local business with the completion of a new inventory storage facility for Forma Furniture, Northern Colorado’s premier Scandinavian and Contemporary furniture store.

This example of Heath’s local construction – the $400,000 warehouse for Forma Furniture in Timnath, Colo. – now provides 6,000-square-feet of vital inventory capacity for this fast-growing furniture store. The new building will help meet rising demand by streamlining inventory management.

“Our new warehouse allows us to increase inventory to deliver more comfort, quality and value to our customers in the community,” said Travis Garrish, Forma Furniture president. “Like Heath, we’re very community focused and excited to continue building strong ties with our neighbors.”

“The family-owned business has seen store traffic double in just the last few months,” said Randy DeMario, Heath Construction president. “We’re glad to help make Forma Furniture even more successful.”

Heath’s recent work includes a variety of local retail projects, from the current historical renovation of the iconic Avery Block Building in Old Town to the massive 123,000-square-foot King Soopers on North College Avenue. For the past three decades, Heath has built many of the most impressive buildings and quintessential streetscapes in our community, from the Opera Galleria and Old Town Plaza to distinguished restaurants and shops like Jimmy John’s, Jackson’s Sports Bar and Kilwins.
“Heath invests in our local economy by supporting hometown businesses,” DeMario said. “We’re a homegrown company dedicated to supporting neighboring businesses with quality projects – big and small – that bolster the vitality of our community. Local work always will be one of our top priorities.”
