HEATH CONSTRUCTION’S GROWTH CONTINUES; HIRES CORPORATE-EXPERIENCED JOHN SINNETT AND MARTI BRUENING TO HIGH-PROFILE POSITIONS
FORT COLLINS, COLO. – March 22, 2012 – Heath Construction, a Fort Collins commercial construction company, has filled two influential positions with John Sinnett and Marti Bruening, whose deep corporate experience will help advance the company in today’s strengthening local and regional markets.
“Business is expanding and we’re growing quickly,” said Randy DeMario, Heath president. “John and Marti’s experience and talent will augment the strength of our current team. The future of Heath is stronger than ever.”
John Sinnett, chief estimator
Sinnett, Heath’s new chief estimator, brings 18 years of management experience and LEED accreditation to one of Heath’s top positions. A well-regarded industry leader, he will apply his years overseeing successful estimating and preconstruction departments – along with his strong local community involvement – to help accelerate Heath’s.
“John has a clear vision for our preconstruction team,” DeMario said. “His prominent local and regional background will serve us well as Heath broadens its reach.”
Sinnett’s extensive construction/development experience comes from 14 years as vice president and project manager with family-owned Sinnett Builders in Fort Collins. Additionally, he served for several years as senior estimator and preconstruction manager at Milender White Construction Company in Denver. Throughout his lengthy career, he has worked on nearly 200 successful projects, many of them high-profile, multi-million dollar projects.
Sinnett has dedicated many years of support to local organizations, including service as past Board President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimer County and Hope Lives! Breast Cancer Support Center; founder of the Wellington United Methodist Fellowship; and member of Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, among many others.
Marti Bruening, internal marketing assistant
Heath’s new internal marketing assistant, Marti Bruening, joins the team with 11 years of marketing-related experience, including four years as proposal manager/sales and marketing lead at Colorado CustomWare, where she supported a seven-person team with companywide communication initiatives. She also has served as editor of several local newspapers.
At Heath, Bruening will play a leading role implementing the company’s comprehensive internal training program, which was expanded significantly this year. The new “Heath ProActive Learning” program was launched to provide more professional-advancement opportunities to employees.
In addition to serving as the training program point person, Bruening will support Heath’s marketing program by facilitating the company’s internal and external communications.
