New Office/Distribution Facility Heath Construction was the Design/Builder for this 100,000 square-foot, $7,200,000 food distribution facility. Aggressive state-of-the-art ammonia refrigeration and insulation requirements of the owner, demonstrate the design flexibility of a pre-engineered steel building. This facility incorporates nearly 40,000 square-feet of freezer and refrigeration area for food storage with critical temperature controlled food and beverage areas, including warm ripening rooms for fruits and vegetables. The Learning Center is comprised of a full commercial test kitchen with seating in an auditorium setting. A large two-story office area integrates tilt-up concrete panel construction with insulated metal panel walls utilized on the remainder of the pre-engineered steel structure.  Download PDF |
