“A local business icon and a new landmark building.”
June 23, 2011
Few companies in our community are as well known and widely respected as Home State Bank. In recent years, the bank has surged in popularity, especially in Fort Collins. We are proud to say that Heath contributed to this success by building the Home State branches on Mountain Avenue, Shields Avenue, and Timberline in Fort Collins. We also built the bank’s branch in Windsor and handled the remodel of its Berthoud branch.
The Home State Bank branch on Mountain Avenue is particularly noteworthy. Designed by RB+B Architects of Fort Collins, the elegant masonry façade of the three buildings in this complex complements the many other masonry structures in Old Town Fort Collins. This 33,000 square-foot, $3.2 million Class A building complex was a joint use project between Home State and K&M Company. In addition to serving as the bank’s flagship branch in Fort Collins, it has become a landmark of local architecture and superb craftsmanship.
